United Way of Greater Los Angeles
The United Way of Greater Los Angeles kicked off the Creating Pathways Out of Poverty initiative with great fanfare in 2007.
YPI is now funded by the United Way through Creating Pathways Out of Poverty. This partnership helps us to provide middle and high school students in the East San Fernando Valley and Central Los Angeles with programs that support eventual high school graduation and preparation for college. This grant also increases the financial stability of target families through adult education and job training services, and educates parents about college preparation options for their chidren.
